Anthony Borcich, MD, is a member of the esteemed Gotham Gastroenterology team, and sees patients at the Midtown East offices, located in Manhattan, New York City. He is board-certified in gastroenterology and internal medicine.
Dr. Borcich received his undergraduate degree from Northwestern University. After completing his undergraduate studies in biochemistry and molecular biology, he went on to earn his medical degree from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.
Dr. Borcich completed his internship and residency training in Internal Medicine at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center. Following his internship and residency, he pursued additional training there as a National Institute of Health (NIH) funded fellow in gastroenterology. He then embarked on hepatology training at Mt. Sinai Hospital, where he then joined the faculty to manage complex liver transplant patients.
His clinical interests span the entire breadth of gastroenterology and endoscopy, with a particular emphasis on hepatitis and other disorders of the liver. He has published numerous original research articles and has presented at national meetings.
Dr. Borcich is an attending physician with privileges at NYU Langone Medical Center and Lenox Hill Hospital. He is a member of the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and the American Association for the Study of Liver Disease.
